The Legion of Everblight Weekend Living Post. - Batch 1

As stated, I was trying to get together a few batches to really pump out some painting this month. I'm not going for awesome crazy quality, but a high table top standard would be nice. The biggest batch is 100 points, but luckily has the least amount of painting areas. These warbeasts are just skin, carapace, mouths, and basing.

Thursday I prepped for greenstuff. I cleaned mold lines and put together my second Angelius:

The greenstuff work was finished on Friday. As of just a few moments ago, I finished the prep basing elements:

Update: Finished up the first airbrushing steps. Also trying to add a bit more color to the carapace and see if I like it:

Update 2: Finished up the basing. Going to spray a protective coat over this once it's all dry and get to work on the carapace. The carapace painting is going to be the longest step, I'm sure:

I went ahead and did a quick test model to completion to see if everything would end up looking the way I wanted it, and see if I could minimize any steps. Here's what I ended up with:

And the finishing ups for this Sunday evening:

As of Monday morning I have finished pretty much everything but the teeth and bone portions. Unfortunately that's quite a bit of work to do, but it's pretty much the last bit of work to do.

I finished all the bone and teeth painting just now, and have decided to add a bit more to the mouth areas for a bit more pop this evening.
