It's been a few days.

The tournament a few weeks back went well. The end result was 2-1, but I plan to do some battle recaps once I finish playing catch-up with all the hobby stuff going on. My Razorwing Jetfighters are practically finished, I just need to finish their bases tomorrow to get some pictures rolling. I've sort of broken my resolution already, but isn't the saying "Resolutions were meant to be broken!"? Yeah, I think it goes something like that.

My local area is starting up INFINITY.

I still plan to only spend a few months, 3 preferably, painting each army before getting distracted with a new one - that part of my resolution is in tact. However, spending only money on one particular game system within that timeframe has broken a few times over. My local area is starting up a few players in the Infinity system, something I've been eyeing for awhile now. It just entered it's 3rd edition, which seems to be pretty solid. I haven't gotten a game in, but with my obsessive nature as close to me as my shadow, it's suffice to say that I know almost everything about the game already. I'm just itching for the experience.

Without breaking away from my 3 months of Dark Eldar too much, I just want to update my inclusion of Infinity into the blog's future with my focus on Ariadna. I'm looking forward to becoming my local area's frontrunner for the game and hope to enact some Demo games and be the "go to" guy for all things Infinity. There's not a huge following, but with the little momentum (from none to about 3 serious players) it has, hopefully it can be a great, cheap way to get people interested in tabletop wargaming in general. I've already invested quite a bit in my starter force (which I bulked out to be able to field two forces for Demos) and a ton more moolah for terrain.

Stay tuned for Dark Eldar painting pictures, and the trickling of Infinity (as long as I can stick my claws in some people to start popularizing the game around here).
